Island Time
Three days from the Haikou → Sanya route, showing how ROAM gives a short trip enough structure to make it effortless.
Days 4–6 · Sanya
This is the coast section. Yalong Bay gives you clear water, long sand and the slower rhythm that makes Hainan feel completely different from the mainland. There is no reason to fill every hour: swim, eat, sleep and let the day unfold.
The itinerary is intentionally light. The useful decisions are where to stay, which part of the coastline to use as your base and when to leave the beach.
What to Eat
Bohou Village
The village main lane is the practical choice for simple local meals and fruit stalls. It is relaxed, convenient and close to the Yalong Bay area.
Dadonghai
For seafood, head towards Dadonghai. Choose from the live tanks, order by weight and look for the island’s coconut chicken hot pot alongside whatever seafood looks best that day.
Just two stops
The northern gateway to Hainan, before slowing down and continuing south towards the island’s beach country.
Yalong Bay, village food, seafood, swimming and a deliberately unhurried finish to the route.
Bilingual Address Card
Every stop includes a Chinese address you can show directly to a driver, so the transfer is simple even when you do not speak Chinese.
